A well organised prize giving rounded off the weeks sailing at Hermanus Yacht Club in South Africa for the 2007 Laser 4.7 Worlds regatta.
The procedings were opened by Mark Thompson who thanked the many supporters in particular Central Boating and Rodney Tanner for their efforts and support during and leading up to the regatta. Southern Charter for their generous sponsorship and ADT for providng security for the event. |

Day of drama on final day of the regatta.
The predicted stronger winds for the Friday of the event came through. The fleet were held ashore until the conditions had
stabilised and at around 12pm the fleet set out for the race course. Conditions were windy with a short steep chop that
would prove too much for some while others reveled in the
conditions.
